New water treatment and sewage facilities have opened in the Gyzylarbat district of the Balkan velayat, the Tahtabazar district of the Mary velayat, the Kaka district of the Ahal velayat, and in the town of Dovletli in the Hojambaz district of the Lebap velayat in Turkmenistan, as reported by the official media of Turkmenistan.

In the Gyzylarbat district, a modern water treatment complex with a capacity of 30,000 cubic meters per day has been put into operation. The facility is equipped with a sedimentation tank with a capacity of 90,000 cubic meters for effective biological treatment.

The Tahtabazar district has gained a new hydraulic structure. The water treatment complex, with a capacity of 20,000 cubic meters per day, uses water from 18 wells in the Istibar and Guşgy fields.

In the Kaka district, a sewage treatment facility has been commissioned to serve the town of Dushak and surrounding areas. The facility has a daily capacity of 10,000 cubic meters.

In the town of Dovletli in the Hojambaz district, the construction of a sewage system with a capacity of 5,000 cubic meters has been completed.

All facilities are equipped with high-tech equipment from leading global manufacturers from Germany, the USA, Italy, and Turkey. Specialists plan to use the treated water for irrigation of agricultural lands, which will significantly enhance the efficiency of water resource use.

The ceremonial commissioning of the facilities was accompanied by a cultural program featuring artists and cultural figures, highlighting the significance of the event for local communities.
