Turkmenistan will participate in the World Specialized Expo EXPO-2027, set to take place from May 15 to August 15, 2027, in Belgrade, Serbia, announced Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Nokerguly Atagulyyev during an online government meeting on Friday.
The Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations has already begun preparatory work to ensure the country’s strong representation at the event, as reported by official media of Turkmenistan.
The deputy prime minister briefed the head of state on the organizational aspects of the country’s participation in the expo, which will be held under the slogan "A Game for Humanity – Sports and Music for All," and presented the proposal for consideration.
The President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, emphasized his approval of the proposal for the country's participation in EXPO-2027 in Belgrade and instructed the deputy prime minister to organize the necessary work in this direction.
