President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov invited Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to visit Turkmenistan during a phone conversation on March 31, 2025, as reported by the official media of Turkmenistan.
The two leaders exchanged greetings and congratulated each other on the sacred Oraza Bayram holiday. Serdar Berdimuhamedov conveyed warm wishes to Pezeshkian from the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
During the conversation, they emphasized that Turkmenistan-Iran relations are based on the principles of equality, good neighborliness, and mutual respect. They discussed strengthening ties in political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
