The chairman of the Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia on Thursday. During the talks, the two sides explored opportunities for joint exhibitions, business forums, and meetings, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan reported.
The meeting focused on developing partnerships between entrepreneurs from both countries. Participants also reviewed the current state of trade and economic cooperation and identified potential areas for expansion.
They prioritized cooperation in the fuel and energy sector, transportation logistics, agriculture, and the textile industry.
At the conclusion of the meeting, representatives from both Turkmenistan and Armenia expressed a mutual interest in strengthening bilateral relations and confirmed their readiness for active cooperation.
In 2024, Turkmenistan and Armenia’s trade turnover reached $22 million.
