Turkmen company Altyn Ýunus has expanded its export reach by initiating shipments of its sugar-free Mentа chewing gum to five Balkan countries: North Macedonia, Kosovo, Serbia, Montenegro, and Albania. The initial consignment, totaling 25 tons, was dispatched in January 2025, as reported by a company specialist to the online publication Business Turkmenistan.
The exported product range features 12 distinct flavors, including strawberry-banana, spiky mint, peppermint, eucalyptus, watermelon, cherry, blueberry, and tropical fruits. Mentа chewing gum is noted for its long-lasting flavor, sugar-free composition, and dental safety.
Altyn Ýunus, a leading Turkmen confectionery producer, is celebrating its 10th anniversary, marking a decade of steady growth and diversification. Initially catering to the domestic market, the company has since expanded its export reach to include Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Iraq.
The company's production facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art machinery sourced from Turkey and European countries, ensuring high-quality output. A dedicated in-house laboratory conducts rigorous quality control to maintain product excellence.
In addition to its manufacturing operations, Altyn Ýunus also serves as a distributor for international brands. A dedicated team manages the distribution of imported products to retail outlets across Turkmenistan.
