The private company Batly Gadam has opened a new terry goods product manufacturing workshop with a design capacity of 6 tons of terry fabric and other textiles per day, Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported on Friday.
Equipped with Chinese high-performance machinery, the plant is expected to increase productivity and expand the company’s reach in foreign markets, in line with Turkmenistan’s import substitution strategy.
The company’s product range also includes high-quality yarn and hosiery items that meet international standards. All products are made from locally sourced raw cotton.
According to Deputy Production Director Aymammed Amanmammedov, a steady supply of raw cotton is provided by Batly Mülkdar, a subsidiary farm operating in Gyzyl-Arbat District of Balkan Velayat.
The company’s monthly output includes 600 tons of cotton yarn and two million pairs of various socks, produced using modern European equipment.
