National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, on Tuesday visited the Ruh-Ordo cultural center in Cholpon-Ata as part of Berdimuhamedov’s official visit to the country, as reported by the press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan.
Kyrgyz Minister of Culture, Information and Youth Policy, Mirbek Mambetaliev, guided the guests through the open-air museum located on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul, sharing the history of the complex’s creation, the presidential press service reported.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Sadyr Japarov toured a pier shaped like a komuz, the traditional Kyrgyz musical instrument. A performance of komuz music was presented, and at the end Japarov gifted Berdimuhamedov a komuz in a gesture of respect and cultural friendship.
The leaders then visited a nearby radon spring, where Japarov highlighted the healing properties of the water, noting that the Issyk-Kul region is home to thousands of natural springs known for their health benefits.
