Turkmenistan’s National Leader and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, held a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday during his working visit to the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation, as reported by Turkmenistan’s news agency on Friday.
The two leaders exchanged warm greetings and praised the current state of steadily developing cooperation between Turkmenistan and Russia, which they described as grounded in mutual trust, friendship, and understanding.
According to report, both sides emphasized the importance of continuing active interstate dialogue and noted the dynamic development of bilateral relations across various sectors. They also highlighted the effective cooperation between the two countries within regional and international organizations.
Concluding their conversation, Berdimuhamedov and Putin reaffirmed their shared confidence in the continued strengthening of Turkmen-Russian relations for the benefit of both nations. They wished each other good health, well-being, and success in their state responsibilities, and extended wishes for prosperity and progress to the peoples of Turkmenistan and Russia.
