Turkmenistan Airlines will temporarily suspend flights on several domestic routes to and from the city of Turkmenbashi starting May 19, 2025, according to the Turkmenistan airline’s press service.
Affected routes include Ashgabat–Turkmenbashi–Ashgabat, Turkmenabat–Turkmenbashi–Turkmenabat, Mary–Turkmenbashi–Mary, and Dashoguz–Turkmenbashi–Dashoguz.
Passengers holding tickets for the suspended routes can receive a refund or modify their itinerary at any ticket office within Turkmenistan. Free cancellations and rebooking options are available for tickets purchased online.
Starting the same day, the carrier will launch new domestic routes to Balkanabat from Ashgabat, Turkmenabat, Mary, and Dashoguz.
