A delegation from the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Türkiýe, led by Chairman Professor Erol Özvar, is visiting Ashgabat from May 21 to 24 to explore prospects for expanding academic cooperation between Türkiýe and Turkmenistan, as reported by Turkmenistan’s official media on Wednesday.
The visit includes scheduled meetings with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Bayramgul Orazdurdyyeva and Minister of Education Jumamyrat Gurbangeldiyev. Discussions will focus on strengthening institutional ties and promoting collaboration in higher education.
The delegation also plans to meet with the leadership of Turkmenistan’s top universities, including Magtymguly Turkmen State University, the International University for the Humanities and Development, and Dovletmammet Azady Turkmen National Institute of World Languages.
In addition to official meetings, the visit includes a cultural program featuring stops at the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan, the Museum of Turkmen Carpet, and the historical and cultural reserve of Nisa.
