The total volume of cashless transactions using with bank cards in Turkmenistan exceeded 5 billion manats from January to March 2025, according to the electronic magazine “Bank habarlary”, published by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.
Payments made through point-of-sale terminals accounted for 4.28 billion manats during the same period.
Data from the central bank shows that payments made via the "Electronic Commerce" system totaled more than 516.9 million manats, while those made through the "Mobile Banking" system surpassed 7.29 million manats.
ATM-based cashless payments amounted to over 145.7 million manats, with more than 1.28 million manats processed through the "Internet Banking" system.
Additionally, the "Halkbank Terminal" system handled more than 59.9 million manats in cashless payments.
