The football associations of Qatar and Turkmenistan have signed an agreement aimed at enhancing bilateral relations in football, as reported by Turkmenistan’s official media on Tuesday.
The signing ceremony was held on May 26 at the headquarters of the Qatar Football Association in Doha.
The agreement was signed by QFA President Jassim bin Rashid Al Buenain and President of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan (FFT) Guvanch Ovekov. The ceremony was also attended by the general secretaries of both associations, Mansoor Al Ansari of Qatar and Serdar Geldiyev of Turkmenistan.
The agreement marks a significant step in QFA’s ongoing strategy to expand collaboration with Asian football federations and deepen ties with friendly countries across the continent.
