Belarusian and Turkmen companies have reached an agreement to sign contracts for the supply of polypropylene sleeves to Belarus, as reported by the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Wednesday following a business mission to Ashgabat, organized jointly with the Belarusian Embassy.
The issue was discussed during the 24th universal International Exhibition “White City Ashgabat,” held in honor of City Day. The exhibition served as an effective platform for establishing direct business contacts and conducting negotiations.
The Belarusian delegation included representatives of five companies interested in expanding export-import cooperation. The business agenda featured meetings with the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, as well as visits to modern Turkmen enterprises.
Special attention was given to the development of the real sector. As part of the program, the Belarusian side was introduced to technologies for strawberry cultivation, and the production of polypropylene packaging and construction materials.
