President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, during his official visit to Kazakhstan, extended a formal invitation to Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to attend the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, scheduled to take place later this year in Turkmenistan’s National Tourist Zone “Avaza,” as reported by Turkmenistan’s state news agency on Friday.
The invitation was issued during a bilateral meeting held on Friday in Astana, where the two leaders discussed regional cooperation and upcoming international initiatives.
Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized key areas of mutual interest, including trade, energy, transport and communications. Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that the meeting would give new momentum to the strategic partnership between the two Central Asian nations.
On the same day, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
