Turkmenistan’s State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports has approved new regulations for organizing sports events, including training camps, according to the official website of the Ministry of Justice.
The relevant order, No. 169-ö, was signed by Committee Chairman A. Saparov on April 21, 2025. Oversight of the implementation of this order was assigned to the relevant deputy chairman of Turkmenistan’s State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports.
The procedure for holding sports events, including training camps, defines key concepts such as sports events, competitions, training camps, training activities, and other athlete preparation measures.
According to the document, sports competitions are categorized by level as international, national, sectoral, provincial (Ashgabat and Arkadag cities), district (excluding Ashgabat and Arkadag), and local competitions held by physical culture and sports organizations.
The procedure for organizing sports events, including training camps, was officially registered by Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Justice on May 29, 2025, under registration number 1879.
