The total balance of loans extended by financial institutions in Turkmenistan to businesses, organizations, and individuals in the national currency reached 89 billion 936,28 million manats as of April 1, 2025, from 88 billion 024,83 million manats recorded on April 1, 2024, as reported by the electronic journal Bank habarlary published by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.

The balance of loans allocated to state institutions and enterprises totaled 48 billion 522 million manats on April 1, 2025. The total balance of loans reached 53 billion 623 million manats on April 1, 2024.

Data shows that the total balance of loans provided to the private sector in the national currency amounted to 15 billion 220 million manats as of April 1, 2025, compared to 12 billion 305 million manats as of April 1, 2024.

The total balance of loans extended to individuals and entrepreneurs operating without legal entities during the reporting period amounted to 26 billion 194 million manats. The total balance of these loans stood at 22 billion 097 million manats on April 1, 2024.
