Turkmenistan Showcases Tourism at Seoul International Travel Fair

Tourism companies from Turkmenistan, in partnership with the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Korea, are participating in the 40th Seoul International Travel Fair, taking place from June 5 to 8, 2025, according to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Korea.

Turkmenistan’s national booth highlights the country’s rich cultural heritage, featuring traditional handmade crafts and books authored by Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Visitors to the booth are being introduced to the Turkmenistan’s historical sites, scenic landscapes, and cultural attractions, and are treated to samples of Turkmen traditional snacks and sweets.

Turkmenistan is represented at the fair by several tourism companies, including Ashgabat Syyahat, Bagtyyar Dostlar, Hazar Ugry, and Owadan Syyahat.

The country’s participation reflects its ongoing efforts to promote cultural diplomacy and expand tourism ties with the Republic of Korea.

The Seoul International Travel Fair is one of the largest travel expos in the Asia-Pacific region, bringing together tourism boards, airlines, and travel agencies from around the world to showcase destinations and build global partnerships.
