Representatives of the Ashgabat City Administration participated in the Tbilisi Regional Forum on Sustainable Development held on June 5–6 in Tbilisi, Georgia, according to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia.
The forum, titled “The Role of Peace in Sustainable Socio-Economic Development,” brought together members of the Georgian government, mayors and municipal council representatives, local and international speakers, experts across various sectors, as well as members of the business community, academia, and diplomatic corps.
Key topics included sustainable economic growth, investment climate resilience, renewable energy development, circular economy practices, energy-efficient construction and infrastructure, real estate markets, economic resilience of local businesses, digitalization in the banking sector, sustainable tourism, and the economic empowerment of women.
The forum serves as an effective platform for the exchange of experience and is expected to contribute to the establishment of long-term partnerships, as well as to the prosperity and development of the region.
