President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has extended heartfelt congratulations to President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, and the Russian people on the occasion of Russia Day, as reported by Turkmenistan's state news agençy on Thursday.

In his message, Berdimuhamedov conveyed best wishes on behalf of the people and government of Turkmenistan, as well as personally, emphasizing the importance Turkmenistan places on developing strategic relations with Russia.

“Turkmenistan attaches great significance to strengthening its strategic partnership with the Russian Federation,” the President stated in the letter, expressing confidence that joint efforts would continue to enhance Turkmen-Russian cooperation across various sectors.

Turkmen President Berdimuhamedov also wished President Putin and Prime Minister Mishustin good health, happiness, and success, and extended wishes of prosperity and progress to the friendly people of Russia.

Russia Day, the national holiday of the Russian Federation, is celebrated annually on June 12.
