Turkmenistan’s President Offers Condolences to India After Plane Crash

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has extended condolences to Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi following a passenger plane crash in the city of Ahmedabad that resulted in numerous casualties and injuries, the Watan Habarlary news program reported Thursday.

Turkmen President Berdimuhamedov expressed heartfelt sympathy and support on behalf of the people and government of Turkmenistan, as well as personally, to the families and loved ones of the victims during this difficult time.

The head of state also wished a swift recovery to those injured in the accident.

According to CNN News18, at least 265 people were killed after an Air India flight crashed near Ahmedabad airport on Thursday.
