Turkmenistan’s Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held a phone conversation on Monday with Zambia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mulambo Haimbe, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the call, the ministers exchanged views on strengthening bilateral relations, particularly in the political, diplomatic, and trade-economic spheres.
They also discussed cooperation within international organizations, with a focus on the United Nations. In this context, the ministers reviewed preparations for the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3).
Zambia’s active participation in the Ministerial Transport Conference for Landlocked Developing Countries, held Aug. 15–16, 2022, was also noted during the discussion.
