Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Nokerguly Atagulyyev on Tuesday presented a proposal to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to strengthen production at the Turkmenhaly State Association during a Cabinet meeting held via video conference.
According to Turkmenistan’s state news agency, the deputy chairman reported that effective measures are being taken to improve the material and technical base of the association’s fine carpet-weaving enterprises, enhance their efficiency, and ensure an uninterrupted supply of necessary raw materials.
After hearing the report, President Berdimuhamedov noted that effective work is underway to develop and improve the national carpet-weaving craft and raise the quality of the products. In this regard, the president approved the proposal to strengthen production at the Turkmenhaly State Association and instructed the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers to implement the necessary measures.
The Cabinet meeting also addressed several other issues related to the country’s social and economic life.
