Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Austria, Hemra Amannazarov, held a meeting on July 9, 2025, with Ms. Fatou Haidara, Deputy Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), at the United Nations Headquarters in Vienna, Turkmenistan’s Embassy in Austria reported on Wednesday.
The discussion focused on preparations for the upcoming Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3), scheduled for August 5–8, 2025.
Both parties emphasized the importance of successful coordination to meet the conference’s goals and highlighted ongoing efforts supporting development initiatives for landlocked countries.
The meeting reaffirmed Turkmenistan’s commitment to active participation and collaboration with international partners ahead of the LLDC3 forum.
