President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, during an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Friday, signed a decree dismissing Dovrangeldi Ishanguliyevich Sapbayev from the post of Chairman of the State Concern Türkmenhimiýa, Turkmenistan’s state news agency reported.
The temporary fulfillment of the duties of the head of the concern was assigned to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Tangryguly Atayev.
The head of state then emphasized the need to continue modernizing existing facilities, building new enterprises, stepping up efforts to fully utilize the capacity of chemical plants and create new production facilities, as well as constructing new modern warehouses for the proper storage of mineral fertilizers.
At the government meeting, the results of work carried out over the past six months were summed up, the progress of the implementation of the country’s socio-economic development programs and personnel matters were reviewed. Reports were also heard from deputy chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, a number of heads of agencies, and provincial governors.
