Personnel changes also took place in the governorship structure of Ashgabat and other regions. In Ashgabat, Ismail Dovliev was appointed governor of the Berkararlyk district, having previously served as his deputy. Rovshen Ishanov was dismissed from this post.

In Balkan Velayat, Rahym Saparberdiyev was relieved of his duties as governor of Mahtumkuli district “due to unsuitability for the position.” He was replaced by Didar Meredov, who previously headed the Etrek district.

In Dashoguz Velayat, Shatgeldi Nurbaev was dismissed from his position as governor of Ruhubelent district for similar reasons. The new governor is Shyhmyrat Annaev, who had served as deputy governor of the velayat. Additionally, Serdar Meredov was relieved of his duties as governor of Saparmurat Turkmenbashi district due to his transition to another job.

The government meeting also reviewed the results of work carried out over the past six months, discussed the implementation of the country’s socio-economic development programs, and addressed personnel issues. Reports were also heard from deputy chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, several officials, and provincial governors.
