National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, together with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, visited the Sea Breeze resort complex on Wednesday, according to the press service of the President of Azerbaijan.
Located on the Caspian Sea coast about 30 minutes from central Baku, Sea Breeze was founded by Emin Agalarov, who presented an overview of the resort’s completed developments and future plans during the visit.
To date, more than 3 million square meters of residential and commercial property have been completed, with over 500 individual facilities built. By 2028, the number of residents is expected to exceed 50,000, eventually reaching 500,000 after all development phases are completed.
The complex currently includes a school, kindergarten, medical facilities, and a full range of recreational and residential infrastructure. More than 6,500 people are employed on-site.
One of the resort’s major upcoming features is a 50-hectare artificial peninsula shaped like a crescent. Sea Breeze is positioned as a unique international project combining living, business, and leisure infrastructure on one of the Caspian Sea’s most promising coastal zones.
