The Permanent Mission of Turkmenistan to the United Nations Office at Geneva and the International Trade Centre (ITC) held a working meeting to review Turkmenistan’s ongoing accession process to the World Trade Organization (WTO), the Permanent Mission of Turkmenistan to the United Nations Office reported on Friday.
The parties also addressed preparations for the upcoming Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3).
The meeting participants highlighted the significance of the LLDC3 Conference, which will be held on 5–8 August 2025 in Avaza, Turkmenistan. The event will serve as an important platform for addressing the specific challenges and development priorities of landlocked developing countries.
Turkmenistan continues to strengthen its engagement with international organizations to advance its economic integration and promote sustainable development goals, including through closer collaboration with the ITC.
