The Ministry of Healthcare and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan held a working meeting attended by Oguljahan Atabayeva, Vice President for Medical Affairs of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charity Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship. The key outcome of the meeting was the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Foundation and the Ministry.
The document outlines collaboration in protecting the health of children under guardianship, with a focus on surgeries, rehabilitation programs and the introduction of modern medical practices, Turkmenistan’s official media reported on Tuesday.
Participants of the meeting emphasized that over the past three decades, Turkmenistan’s healthcare system has undergone significant reforms, resulting in the adoption of international standards in treatment and the development of medical infrastructure.
The signing of the agreement reaffirms Turkmenistan’s commitment to developing its healthcare sector in line with national traditions of humanism and modern approaches that meet the needs of the time.
