President of Turkmenistan Congratulates Uzbek Leader on Birthday

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has sent a congratulatory message to President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the occasion of his birthday, Turkmenistan’s state news agency reported on Thursday.

“I am deeply convinced that under your wise and far-sighted leadership, the Republic of Uzbekistan will achieve even greater success. We highly value your personal contribution to strengthening the traditionally friendly and strategic relations between our countries and look forward to further expanding bilateral cooperation for the benefit of our peoples,” President Berdimuhamedov said in his message.

Taking the opportunity, the Turkmen leader wished Mirziyoyev good health, happiness, prosperity and new success in his work, and peace and prosperity to the people of Uzbekistan.

Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, was born on July 24, 1957, in the Zaamin District of the Jizzakh Region in a doctor’s family.
