Most senior officials in Turkmenistan will begin their annual leave starting August 1, except for leaders in the agricultural sector and the hyakims (governors) of the provinces, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov announced during a regular Cabinet of Ministers meeting on Friday.
The Head of State emphasized that during this period, government officials will have the opportunity to rest and improve their health at the country’s sanatoriums, as well as visit the Avaza National Tourist Zone, according to official Turkmen media.
In addition, considering upcoming international events, some officials will continue their work in preparation and organization of these events.
The government meeting also addressed various state affairs.
