Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Presents Gifts to Presidents of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan

National Leader of Turkmenistan and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, together with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, took part in a cultural event in Avaza, during which commemorative gifts were presented to the leaders of the two countries.

According to official Turkmen media, President Aliyev received an Akhal-Teke horse named Tawus, while President Mirziyoyev was gifted a female camel with her calf.

The program featured a performance by the Galkynysh national equestrian group, established in 2007 on the initiative of Berdimuhamedov, showcasing traditional horseback stunts on Akhal-Teke horses.

On July 17, 2025, President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan gifted a Karabakh horse named "Dostluk" to the National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
