Turkmenistan Puts 25 State-Owned Assets Up for Auction

The Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan has announced an auction for the sale of 25 state-owned assets.

The list of state property subject to privatization was published Wednesday in the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper. The auction is scheduled to take place on September 17, 2025, via the digital platform for state property auctions and its mobile application.

Among the largest assets to be auctioned are a brick production facility located in the village of Hendekli, Berzen Gengesh of Danev District in Lebap Province, with an area of 3,967 square meters; a two-story building also located in Lebap Province; and a pipe manufacturing plant in Dashoguz Province covering 6,400 square meters.

The auction will also feature a variety of service-sector properties, including shops, cafés, canteens, administrative buildings, and production facilities.

Citizens of Turkmenistan and foreign countries, as well as non-state legal entities from Turkmenistan and abroad, are eligible to participate in the auction in accordance with the country's legislation.

Consultations on participation procedures and detailed information about the privatization objects are available through the Department of Property Relations and Entrepreneurship Support of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan, as well as the respective regional and Ashgabat city departments.
