A total of 32 transactions were registered last week at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET).

For foreign currency, entrepreneurs from Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and Georgia purchased liquefied gas, low-sulfur fuel oil, and polyethylene pipes.

Business representatives from the UAE, Kyrgyzstan, and Serbia acquired raw fabric, denim products, and licorice roots and rhizomes. The total value of these foreign currency transactions exceeded US $10.409 million.

On the domestic market, local entrepreneurs purchased technical carbon, base oil, petroleum road bitumen, cotton yarn, a licorice root-based tea drink, and iodine solution. The total value of these transactions amounted to more than 59.907 million Turkmen tmt.

Established in 1994, the SCRMET is the main body regulating export and import operations in Turkmenistan.
