A new village named Bagtly Zamana was inaugurated on Tuesday in the Gowshut Gengesh of Kaahka District, Ahal Province, according to the Watan Habarlary news program.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the new residents of Bagtly Zamana. “The creation of modern socio-economic infrastructure across various parts of Turkmenistan, along with large-scale investments aimed at introducing scientific and technological advancements and innovations across all sectors, clearly demonstrates the country’s economic potential and the harmonious development of its economy,” the President said in his message.
The village features 400 residential homes, a 640-seat school, a 320-seat kindergarten, a shopping center, and the administrative building of the gengesh. All facilities are equipped with modern infrastructure and technology.
The project was implemented by Turkmen construction companies and reflects the national strategy to improve living standards. The new village is expected to become an important hub for the region’s social and cultural development, serving as a model for future residential settlements in Turkmenistan.
On the same day, a ceremonial opening of a new 320-seat kindergarten also took place in the village of Akýap, located in the Akýap Gengesh of Sakarçäge District, Mary Province.
