The practical component of the training is conducted through field simulation exercises at a livestock complex in Gokdepe district, Ahal province. FAO international experts Svetlana Bardenstein and Nadav Galon lead the sessions. Participants include specialists from state veterinary and sanitary-epidemiological services, laboratory staff, and representatives from the Horse Breeding Research Center in Arkadag city. Coordination on the Turkmen side is provided by national expert Arslan Soltanmyradov.

The involvement of specialists from various ministries and agencies underscores Turkmenistan’s commitment to One Health principles, which promote integrated collaboration across human, animal, and environmental health. FAO experts praised the organization of the training and the preparedness of Turkmen specialists. Such initiatives strengthen the professional capacity of national personnel and foster international cooperation in animal health protection and biosafety.
