The Turkmen-Italian Business Forum and a traveling exhibition showcasing Turkmen products made with Italian technologies were held in Rome on October 24, 2025, during the official visit of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov of Turkmenistan to Italy.
The event, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, aimed to strengthen bilateral trade and economic cooperation and to explore opportunities for further expansion.
The forum featured bilateral meetings and a signing ceremony for documents between Turkmen and Italian representatives. Participants discussed potential joint projects and ways to further develop business partnerships.
On the sidelines of the forum, the head of Turkmenistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry met with officials from the Italian Trade Agency (ITA). Both sides noted the steady growth of Turkmen-Italian trade relations and the increasing number of Italian companies operating in, or showing interest in, the Turkmen market. They also discussed ways to deepen cooperation.
The meetings provided a platform to define current priorities and outline future directions for collaboration.
