The National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, held separate meetings Wednesday with Hiroyuki Tsubai, head of the Turkmen-Japanese Society, and Neda Berger, head of the Turkmen-Austrian Society, as part of events marking the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality, Turkmenistan’s official media reported.
During the discussion with Tsubai, the sides reviewed the development of Turkmen-Japanese cooperation. They highlighted the outcomes of major projects involving Japanese companies, including the construction of gas and chemical industry facilities. Berdimuhamedov emphasized Turkmenistan’s interest in further expanding collaboration and adopting modern technologies.
The meeting with Berger focused on strengthening Turkmen-Austrian relations, particularly in the cultural and humanitarian spheres.
Following the meetings, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further enhancing bilateral partnership and expanding contacts in areas of mutual interest.
