Turkmenistan Airlines is introducing an additional flight on the Ashgabat–Abu Dhabi–Ashgabat route, increasing the frequency of air service between Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates, the carrier said on its website.
The new flight will begin operating Jan. 4, 2026, on Sundays. On that day, flight T5-827 will depart Ashgabat at 4:25 a.m. and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 5:55 a.m. The return flight, T5-828, will depart Abu Dhabi at 7:25 a.m. and arrive in Ashgabat at 9:55 a.m.
The existing service on the route will continue to operate on Fridays. On that day, the Ashgabat–Abu Dhabi flight is operated as T5-825, departing at 5:45 p.m. and arriving at 7:15 p.m. The return flight, T5-826, is scheduled to depart Abu Dhabi at 9 p.m. and arrive in Ashgabat at 12:30 a.m. the following day.
The expanded schedule is aimed at improving transport accessibility and developing passenger traffic between the two countries.
In July, Turkmenistan Airlines operated its first direct flight from Ashgabat to Seoul, the capital of South Korea.
