World leaders have sent New Year greetings to Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of the upcoming 2026 year, Turkmenistan’s official media reported Tuesday.
Greetings were sent by Chinese President Xi Jinping; Russian President Vladimir Putin; Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev; Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov; Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev; Tajik President Emomali Rahmon; President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian; South Korean President Lee Jae Myung; Polish President Karol Nawrocki; Slovenian President Nataša Pirc Musar; Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah; and Italian President Sergio Mattarella.
The leaders wished President Berdimuhamedov strong health and continued success in his work, and expressed wishes for happiness, well-being, and prosperity for the people of Turkmenistan.
The leaders also reaffirmed their interest in further strengthening friendly relations and expanding bilateral cooperation.
