President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received a congratulatory letter from U.S. President Donald Trump on the occasion of Christmas and the New Year.
According to Turkmenistan’s official media, such high-level messages reflect both sides’ interest in maintaining constructive dialogue and advancing bilateral relations.
Cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United States covers regional security, trade and economic partnership, and engagement within the C5+1 format. U.S. companies are involved in several industrial projects in Turkmenistan, forming a foundation for long-term business cooperation.
New Year’s greetings were also sent to the head of state by Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, South Korean President Lee Jae-myung, Polish President Karol Nawrocki, Slovenian President Natasa Pirc Musar, Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and Italian President Sergio Mattarella.
