The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan reported road bitumen sales totaling 115 million manats during trading sessions Wednesday.
Local entrepreneurs also purchased cotton yarn totaling 16.92 million manats, the exchange said.
Foreign buyers were also active. Business representatives from Uzbekistan purchased SN-180 base oil worth $120,000. Buyers from Serbia acquired unrefined dried licorice roots and rhizomes valued at $337,500, while companies from Kyrgyzstan bought cotton yarn worth $3.17 million.
A total of 12 deals were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
