Turkmenistan, UAE to Develop Economic Cooperation Program
Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates agreed on the advisability of developing an Economic Cooperation Program, the Turkmen Foreign Ministry said.
The issue was discussed Wednesday in Abu Dhabi during a meeting between Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The sides reviewed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in political-diplomatic and trade and economic spheres, the ministry said.

The talks emphasized the need to intensify work on implementing major joint projects, particularly in the energy and transport and logistics sectors.
The diplomats also exchanged views on current regional and international issues.
Meredov arrived in the UAE to take part in the World Government Summit 2026.
