The At-myrat training center received a 1.5 million manat monetary gift on behalf of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said.
He announced the donation during a meeting with students of the At-myrat training center and members of the National Equestrian Games Group Galkynyş, Turkmenistan’s official media reported Wednesday.
Berdimuhamedov presented the gift to young people engaged in horse breeding, wished them success and congratulated them on their awards.
The management of the At-myrat training center and its students expressed gratitude to Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the support. The students said they would make every effort in their studies to become professional horse breeders and skilled riders by fully using the opportunities provided.
The funds allocated by the charitable foundation will significantly strengthen the center’s material and technical base, enabling students to more effectively use digital systems.
Berdimuhamedov also inquired about the organization of the educational process and efforts to deepen students’ knowledge of national horse-breeding traditions.
Training at the At-myrat center is conducted on a seasonal basis, with the number of applicants exceeding 40 each season.
