Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bayram Bayramov, held a meeting Feb. 2, 2026, with Rashed Al Teneiji, Director of the Economic and Trade Affairs Department at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The talks focused on the possibility of organizing an exhibition and presentation of Turkmen products in the UAE.
According to the Turkmen Embassy in the UAE, the sides discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral economic and trade cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UAE.
Special attention was given to expanding mutual trade, strengthening economic ties, and developing direct contacts between the business communities of both countries, including cooperation in a “business-to-business” format.
The parties also explored opportunities for Turkmen participation in international economic, financial, trade, entrepreneurial, and investment events regularly held in the UAE. Discussions included Turkmen business participation in international fairs and exhibitions, as well as visits by UAE business representatives to specialized events organized in Turkmenistan.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides confirmed their readiness to maintain regular contacts and expressed their intention to continue a mutually beneficial dialogue on issues of common interest to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
