The state concern Turkmennebit exceeded its gasoline production plan, reaching 126.5% in January, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov told President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at a regular government meeting Friday.
According to official media, Turkmennebit met its crude oil production plan at 107.5%. During the reporting period, oil refineries fulfilled the oil-processing plan at 106.4%.
The deputy prime minister said diesel fuel output reached 104.6% of the plan, polypropylene 100%, lubricating oils 100%, and liquefied gas 122.1%. The plan for natural and associated gas production was met at 108.3%.
Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said practical steps are needed to implement the work outlined in the national oil and gas industry development program. He instructed the deputy prime minister to carry out comprehensive measures to increase natural gas and oil production, develop hydrocarbon fields, and steadily expand the sector’s production capacity.
The Cabinet of Ministers meeting reviewed the results of work carried out in the country in January.
