A working meeting was held Feb. 19, 2026, at the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan with Andrei Iovu, an expert from the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.
The sides exchanged views on the future of bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and the OSCE in the field of migration, the State Migration Service’s press office said.
The meeting reviewed joint activities carried out with OSCE support and discussed the potential for further cooperation. Particular attention was given to opportunities to expand collaboration in the migration sphere and to priority areas for future work.
Following the meeting, the sides expressed confidence that the partnership would continue to develop successfully and wished each other success in implementing key projects.
The State Migration Service of Turkmenistan is the executive authority responsible for regulating migration processes in the country, implementing state migration policy and ensuring compliance with Turkmenistan’s international obligations in the field of migration.
