Ashgabat is set to host the third Turkmenistan–UAE Business Forum in October. The plan was discussed during a meeting between Turkmenistan’s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Bayram Bayramov, and Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with Humaid Mohammed Ben Salem, secretary-general of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry. The meeting took place Wednesday in the United Arab Emirates.
The sides reviewed opportunities to expand economic and investment cooperation and discussed the current investment climate and business potential of the UAE and Turkmenistan, according to Al Khaleej.

Al Owais underscored the importance of intensifying bilateral contacts and exchanges between business communities, noting that direct engagement helps boost trade and broaden cooperation.
The meeting also highlighted the Federation’s interest in steadily strengthening its partnership with Turkmenistan, particularly in the economic, trade and investment spheres.
The second Turkmenistan–UAE Business Forum was held in October 2025 at the Sharjah Chamber headquarters.
