A ceremonial event marking the latest international honors awarded to the film Composer was held Sunday at the Ashgabat Cinema, according to Turkmen state media.
The feature film was produced with financial support from the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the report said.
On Feb. 17, as part of the Days of Turkmen Cinema in Türkiye, the film was screened at the Yashar Kemal Cultural Center in Ankara. Following the screening, the production received two international awards from TURKSOY.

The Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation received the Grand Winged Falcon award for its contribution to the film’s production. Composer Kerim Berdimuhamedov was honored with the Winged Golden Steed award for the film’s musical score.
Ahead of the main ceremony in Ashgabat, attendees viewed an exhibition in the cinema’s foyer highlighting the history and development of Turkmen cinema.
Speakers at the event congratulated the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Turkmen filmmakers and all those involved in the project on the international recognition received by the film.
The ceremony also featured musical performances.
