A working meeting was held Feb. 20, 2026, at the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan between officials of the service and Stephen Conlon, the ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Turkmenistan. The sides exchanged views on prospects and opportunities for Turkmenistan-UK cooperation in the field of migration.
According to the press service of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan, the talks focused on priority areas of bilateral cooperation.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the sides expressed confidence in the continued, coordinated development of cooperation between the two countries in migration matters and wished success in ongoing efforts in this area.
Earlier, on Feb. 19, 2026, the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan held a working meeting with Andrei Iovu, an expert with the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.
