The total volume of cashless transactions made with bank cards in Turkmenistan exceeded 23.4 billion manats in 2025, according to Bank habarlary, an electronic journal published by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.
Payments made through point-of-sale terminals during the year totaled 19.586 billion manats, the report said.
The central bank said transactions conducted via the E-Commerce system amounted to more than 2.978 billion manats in 2025, while payments through the Mobile Bank system exceeded 47.2 million manats.
Cashless payments processed through ATMs totaled more than 550.3 million manats, while transactions via the Internet Bank system exceeded 9.5 million manats.
More than 255.7 million manats in cashless payments were processed through the Halkbank terminal system, according to the report.
